The main responsibility of the Custodian is maintaining the cleanliness and environmental safety of agency building. Primary responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following:
Cleaning and maintaining the floors (including scraping and waxing) throughout the agency.
Cleaning the sinks and toilets.
Replenishment of paper goods.
Taking out the garbage and replacing the lining of the trashcans.
Vacuuming the carpets.
Cleaning windows and sills.
Heavy duty cleaning during the off season of the school as directed .
Other duties as assigned.
• Previous experience in duties in a similar setting extremely helpful but, not required.
• Good documentation skills are beneficial.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from agency employees necessary.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a significant plus.
