The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for direct care, oversight of administrative and clinical supervision and staff performance evaluation. Requires familiarity and compliance with all relevant regulations


Provides direct clinical services on as needed/required basis, including clinical intakes for screening and admission
Provides weekly clinical supervision to assigned staff
Monitors the timely submission of all treatment plans
Monitors and participate in family conferences, observe workers overall relationships with person supported and other systems
Conducts monthly reviews of progress notes and casework contacts for each assigned staff
Conducts Staff training and development as needed
Schedule and monitor staff attendance and vacation to ensure proper coverage
Conducts performance appraisals
Conducts Quality Assurance by documenting chart reviews and audits
Submits incident reports as required and ensures proper follow up based on regulatory demands
Submits monthly internal QI reports
Chairs clinical team meetings
Conducts monthly Utilization Reviews based on Medicaid and Manage Care Companies requirements
Ensures compliance with the New York State Department of Office of Mental Health
Facilitates and supervises groups
Interview and hires program staff
Process staff terminations
Perform other job related tasks and duties as assigned



LCSW and 2 years in a supervisory capacity
Substance Abuse clinical supervision experience preferred
Knowledge of child and adolescent development
Excellent verbal , written communication and organizational skills are essential
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience in utilizing Electronic Health Records
Knowledge of New York State Office of Mental Health, Child Welfare and related regulations
Seminar In Field Instruction (SIFI) certified preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish ) a plus
