The Data Management Specialist will lead the implementation of corrective actions and improvement plans. He/she also leads the process of collection and data dissemination. The Senior Data Management Specialist will create reports, collect and utilize available data management systems for the purpose of assisting in identifying, assessing and monitoring all aspects of the quality of services provided by Leake and Watts programs.


Ensures OSI Corrective Action Plans are completed on a program level and submitted to external monitoring agencies
Responsible for preparing the monthly billings for several ACS programs
Serves as a liaison to the ACS LTS staff as well as ensuring PH Reports are meeting timely completion; Uploads PH Reports into the LTS system; trouble shoots obstacles to timely uploading of PH Reports.
Maintaining and validating the completeness and accuracy of program data for compliance reporting purposes; including the development of rebuttal reports submitted quarterly to ACS and other external monitoring agencies
Perform audits and case record reviews as needed
Maintains, creates and provides Casework Contact Reports for internal monitoring purposes as well as to monitor these reports for Federal Compliance
Assists in the collection, coding, input, verification, monitoring, statistically analyzing and reporting on performance quality and outcome data from various Leake and Watts programs
Provides data utilized by programs in determining and measuring goals and outcomes
Prepares monthly and quarterly tickler reports for Permanency Report and FASP completion
Provides technical assistance in the use of Lewis and Connections as well as in the use of various software such as Excel and PowerPoint
Serves as a QI team member in the completion of agency wide projects and QI initiatives
Other QI duties as assigned by the supervisor


Bachelor's Degree preferred in Social Work or related human services field or equivalent.
Must have commitment to enhancing the level of service delivery provided to children and families.
Must have ability to analyze and manipulate data.
Must ability to write reports from database information,
Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
Good verbal /written communication skills.
Ability to travel to various Leake and Watts sites as needed_
Must have working knowledge of computer applications, preferably highly skilled with Excel
Must have knowledge of statistics and knowledge of SPSS preferred
Familiarity with CONNECTIONS and ACS processes helpful.
Familiarity with relevant OMRDD, OCFS and Dept. of Education regulations, along with Foster Care helpful
